Coppola's Ristorante & Banquet Facility

In response to dolus, I would have brought you more buns and suggest that you shove them......

They are very knowledgeable when it comes to Italian regional cuisine.

I would defiently go back, probally just for the bread and that big sandwhich with the sauted veggies...YUMMY.

The pasta was ok, im gonna be honest my whole table really only enjoyed the little buns. We actually asked for some more to take home, and the waiter told us he ran out.

We have been to Coppola's many times and we have never been disappointed. The menu is varied and everything we have tried is very good and an excellent value. The daily specials are especially worth trying as the chef is ambitious and knows how to create great combinations.

Aug. 10/2008 Food was good bar tender poured short the 1/2L of wine and tried to obscure it by pouring win into glasses. The Prices are too high for the bad service by the staff.

I was in last night 05/10/08. Food was pretty good, I honestly loved the bread and the pasta alla vodka the best. Good job everyone.

Oh and I loved all the italian guys in there too.

The waiter was very condesending and rushed us through a meal. He didnt give us a wine menu but rather ordered for us with an assumption of what we wanted for a white wine. He was quite rude and it took ages for our food to come.
However, the food was pretty good. I have the seafood pescatore and the pasta was very good. The clams had sand in them though.

The BEST restaurant in St. Catharines. The food is consistantly excellent and the staff are the best in the business. Very welcoming feeling from the front door to the coffee. We dine at Coppola's at least 1-2 times per week. No comparison.

Came in on a very busy night (a Saturday), to celebrate a birthday. As usual, the restaurant was packed. A lovely tall Italian man greeted us as if we were family, and managed to squeeze us in. The food, as usual, was phenomenal, the staff perfect, and again, we are convinced that this is the best place in our region. (Found out after that the Italian guy was the owner - and, unfortunately married.)

On a Wednesday night, we were seated at a table for two right next to a very loud party. We could barely hear each other speak and the service was of the hang onto your fork variety. The food was pretty good, but the ambiance wasn't. I guess I expected a little more for the price.

I brought my relatives from Italy to this restaurant. They were beyond impressed. Nowhere in this region can you get such authentic Italian food, and at the same time, get a great steak. Everything was simply superb. Best in the region, by far.

I took my husband to Coppola's for his 39th birthday, thinking this would be the perfect spot. It simply was the worse experience we have ever had. Their sauce was salty, the over cooked (2) clams had sand in them, the(skimpy) mussells were left in there BROKEN shells which were evenly distributed through out the pasta. The pasta was cold and chewy. I did not finish my dinner though I did not complain either, I simply will not be returning and will share with my co-workers, family and friends my experience.

So many people told me to try this place over the last few years...(I'm a chef for 18= years and very open minded),I finally ate at this restaurant...I didn't expect anything great...'ok' at best/very disappointed...maybe I shouldn' t have gone to an Italian place for lamb, (I can't explain how salty/dijon-ly the sauce was, also, thick like fudge)...I 'might' go back, but only for a pasta-dish at most, I hope they can't mess that up...sauces are muddy, too rich and heavy it seems in every dish...just my opinion.

I attended a function in the banquet facilities. The ambience and food was outstanding. Definitely worth visiting. Very couteous staff. Truly a wonderful experience. I will certainly return!

This restaurant had everything i wanted, amazing staff, excellent food, great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys real Italian cuisine. Their homemade pasta and sauce are to die for. Qudos to the chef.
