I love this restaurant,espically the hot food from the kitchen, so good!

Sushi is delicious...servers are NOT rude...have been there over 30 times and have never had a rude server however, have had quite a few things not come to our table. After asking a 2nd time we had to wait another 20 mins...then still had something missing. Good value for lunch definately, dinner too expensive. Not worth taking young children who just nibble. My husband and I reserve Sushi Jade as our date night and leave the kids at home however what people don't realize is that you can just order 6 pcs. for your child and pay $5 instead of having them pay all u can eat....but once my daughter shared our edamame and the waitress actually scolded my 5 year old!!! That was the only time I saw this waitress and have not seen her since!

went with my wife today and have the dinner , i ordered sashimi and the salmon had a horrible smell we ordered sushi and some of them had the same nasty taste and very strong fishy odor , so tried something else and ordered sweet and sour pork , first of all they dont bring you all you order and also tell you that you should't order too much i mean wtf its suposed to be all you can eat buffet , the pork didnt have any flavor at all and in some of the pieces i had this fridge like tase so horrible that didnt want to order nothing else with fish so i just keep ordering the deep fried tofu, im not an expert but when fish smells like that i dont think is too safe to eat . service was bad food was bad as well , and when ordered the bill the waitress droped the plates and made a big mess ,my wife was soaked with sauce and water , just awful will never come back . A japanese place managed by chinese , not a good mix

Just had lunch there today. Usually good, however today was bad! Table was filthy dirty...Was eating Edadame and there was an empty shell mixed in? Are they mixing leftovers from other's plates?? Bathroom was disgusting. Usually is gross, however today took the cake. Flies, and the smell of feces. Everything is out of order in there-sink, toliet, GROSS. Not happy today!!!

My wife and I go quite often at lunch time. We both enjoy the food very much and believe it is good value for the money. Neither of us have ever had an issue with the staff being rude. The only negative is that on a few occasions, parts of our orders were not served and on a couple of occasions, not even after we asked again. Overall though, I would rate Jade Very Good +.

First, my girlfriend and I used to regulars at Real Sushi in St. Catharines. We were so regular that they knew our orders and treated us like gold. During the time they were renovating, my GF and I moved to Niagara Falls, we needed Sushi, even though Jade had such poor reviews in St. Catharines, we figured we would try Jade in the falls.
I must say, that the first couple visits were upsetting for service. Orders didn't come, they were out of a lot of my favourites, servers were rude, etc...
But we gave it a couple more chances because the food was amazing, no questions about it. It seems that if you start to go there on a regular basis and the wait staff gets to know you as a regular, you get treated a LOT better.
Now, we get seated right away, always a booth, we are fond of all the wait staff, and we haven't had an order messed up or not made in a long time, so long I can't even recall.
I was upset to read a review below stating that wait staff don't keep their tips. I really want to confirm this myself. If it's true, it's pathetic, and something needs to be done. Does anyone have the owners name or contact?

I don't know what people on this site are talking about.
I have been to Sushi Jade several times, and the wait staff have always been friendly and attentive.
The restroom facilities could have more attention taken to them.
There is something about going number 1 and seeing spiderwebs and hair on the floor. A clean restaurant, comes with it, clean facilities as well.
The food has always been excellent and very tasty.

Feel sick shortly after eating there, one to many times for me. Servers tips are going to the owners how awfull someone should report this to the government.

First time to the one in Niagara Falls. I would have to say the only Negative was the waitresses were EXTREMELY RUDE, did not want to serve you and it was like pulling teeth to come and take a 2nd or 3rd order of sushi, was never offered a refill to drink. But the food was good!!!

I am an American and yes we love food and we like good food. I wouold give this place solid 3.5 stars .

I have been a patron of Sushi Jade in St Kitts as well as Niagara Falls. The food is good however I am very upset to learn the waiters do not keep their tips, that they go to the owner.I have verified this with more then 5 waiters and many of the good one have quit over this. For shame Sushi Jade. After I pay my food bill, it is my right to tip the staff for services received. Not another 15% to the owner, very angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I will not go back unless this is fixed.

Food is average but what can you expect in an eat all you can for 13.99. Service is awful. Rude servers who do not know the word thank you. Dont expect to be treated well. You will be lucky enough if you get 60% of your orders. If you want to impress someone or up to a busines meeting or something I suggest you go elsewhere.

we really like the food here , and we eat alot of sushi.. however to go from kids eating free up to 4yrs old than to jump to $16.99 for a 4 yr old who just picks like all little ones is crazy ... what kid eats $16.99 worth of food ? ( well maybe some american kids but not here in canada ! ) they should charge $7.99 or something like that until maybe 10 yrs old than charge $12.99 , thats fair

Excellent service. Vincent is super nice and remembers you the next time you come in and makes a point of welcoming you back. The sushi is the best around. A little expensive but you pay for what you get for sure.

food was excellent but when we went in around 330 or 400 we were told it was dinner that was fine by us. We then ordered our first course of food, as they ask you not to over order and then you can ask for more later, when we did however they said the kitchen was closed to clean for dinner, I wonder why did we not pay lunch prices then, other then that the food was so good I'll be going back just earlier or later as to not have the kitchen close in the middle or an all you can eat.

for the price its good BUT the servers aren't so friendly and don't seem nice. other then that i would go again.

Amazing! Great selection of both hot food and sushi. We always have a good meal there....my favourite- winter rolls!

Love, love, love Sushi Jade. I used to HATE sushi, but after eating here, I can say that I truly enjoy it. I agree with some reviewers about missing food, however, I've simply mentioned this to the waitress and she brought the missing order right over in a timely fashion. The prices for lunch are fair, but I agree a local discount would be appreciated. Try it!

This is basically the best restaurant in history, as far as I'm concerned. I just can't believe how good the food is and for the price.

I've been to Niagara Falls Sushi Jade at least 8 times in the past month. And let me tell you, I won't go to St. Catharines sushi again! Not only Niagara Falls Sushi Jade is conveniently located, but the service is great. Everytime I go there, I'm being greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Whenever I request for something, I receive it in a timely manner. The quality of food is excellent, and it tastes great too. As for prices, in my opinion, they are reasonable. The lunch menu is about $2 more than the one in St. Catharines. However, I spend more money and time to drive to St. Catharines, find a parking spot, pay for parking, and then walk to the restaurant. And, lets not forget that the restaurant needs to stay in business somehow. When the prices are lowered, the quality of food and service is decreases as well. So, as for me, I am perfectly satisfied.
I also love their menu and the way they take orders. This way you know exactly what you're ordering and how much of it. It is very convenient.
As for people complaining about service and the time they have to wait - my sugestion is go to McDonalds! This is a restaurant after all, not a fast food eatery.

I have had nothing but good service the 5 times I have been there and the food is always excellent...I am sure that my friends would agree. All I have to say, things happen at every restaurant and you shouldn't always judge when a place first opens cause there is always bound to be some glitches. I don't think $13.99 for ALL YOU CAN EAT is asking too much, even $23.99 for dinner, if you go to the manderine or all you can eat shrimp at red lobster it is about the same...but I guess that is just my opinion...

When we first stepped in the atmosphere felt welcoming but, waitresses stared at us as they were doing nothing and did not seat us for a good 15 minutes. When we sat down after our table had just been wiped the table had a strong scent of urine from the vinegar + dirty cloth they used to wipe the table. Earlier on in the day we called to confirm when lunch ordering was over and they told us 6. But when we sat down the waitress told us we only had 30 minutes to order it was 3pm. Our party of 8 ordered around 200 rolls of sushi. We received only half of what we ordered and by the time we wanted to order more the waitress said last call had passed by yet she never came by to tell us. On the positive side i must say the food was good. But after we were done eating we waited at the cashier desk waiting to pay for 15 minutes again as waitress's , cook's, and other staff were watching. So the service was terrible but the food was good. Overall i do not recommend this jade sushi in niagara falls, the 20 minute trip to the jade sushi in st.catherines is much more worth it.

It was amazing! I went with a party of five, and we all had nothing but good things to say about it. Waitress was quick and attentive, food was definitely fresher tasting than St. Catharines, and I've been to St. Kits MANY times. The atmosphere was perfect, the new look was refreshing, location was easy to get to. Only one item was missed on our order at this location, but usually 3 or 4 things are missing from the other. I think now they've worked out their kinks and I'm confident they will only get better. I do have to agree the higher price was frowned upon, and although it IS a tourist area, they SHOULD offer a local discount. We just ate an extra boat to take care of that... )

Service was fanatastic, restaurant was clean, only problem sushi chef has some issues with preparing all the food you request its pretty sad when the waitress needs to waste time in filliing in another 2 sheets before he sends out all your food

Awful, dont go there

WENT ON OPENING DAY...VERY DISSAPOINTING. DINNING ROOM STAFF DID NOT KNOW TABLE NUMBERS. FOOD DELIVERED TO WRONG TABLES, THEN PICKED BACK UP AND REDELIVERED (NOT SANITARY. DID NOT RECEIVE ALL THE FOOD ORDERED AND TYPE AND QUANTITY. HONESTLY EVERY CUSTOMER WAS COMPLAINING AND NOT A HAPPY FACE IN THE ENTIRE DINING ROOM. FOOD WAS JUST OKAY. PRICE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI RESTAURANTS (24.95 ADULT & 18.95 CHILD). DINING ROOM STAFF AVOIDED EYE CONTACT AND DID NOT ASK HOW THINGS WERE, I MADE A POINT IN LETTING THEM KNOW THAT I WAS DISSAPOINTED BUT NO APOLOGIES WERE OFFERED. AFTER REQUESTING MY BILL NUMEROUS TIME ANOTHER SERVER BROUGHT IT TO MY TABLE. I LEFT MY PAYMENT ON THE TABLE AND BEGAN TO LEAVE, THE WAITRESS WHO DIDNT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO MY TABLE THE ENTIRE MEAL WAS NOW YELLING TO ME ACCROSS THE DINING ROOM THAT I NEEDED TO STOP AND COME BACK AND PAY - MONEY WAS ON THE TABLE!!! THIS EXPERIENCE WAS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AND I WILL DEFINATELY NEVER RETURN. I WILL STICK WITH REAL SUSHI IN ST. CATHARINES - BETTER FOOD, BETTER SERVICE AND BETTER PRICE.

They don't give you the proper amount Food, they don't bring out everything you order. Service was also a big disaster. In my opinion if you want good service, And lots of food please don't go to jade in niagara falls.

Wow, worst experience, never go there

Service was soooooo bad, they were soooooo slow to get my order and never brought out everything we ordered. i would rather go to st.cath and never go back to jade.
